Yesterday, on September 17, the Yerevan Council elections were held.
The elections were marked by an unprecedentedly low turnout of 28.46%, numerous election violations, and the use of administrative resources. Despite all this, the candidate of the de-facto authorities of Armenia could not win the election. In the current situation, the non-governmental candidates can unite, depriving the Civil Contract candidate of the post of mayor.
