The head of the regime, Nikol Pashinyan, talks about the sovereignty of Armenia, but destroys all its components. During the governance of the Pashinyan regime and as a result of his actions: the army was defeated, Artsakh was surrendered, the Armenian Apostolic Church is under pressure from the authorities, the policy of international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide by Turkey was stopped, Armenian national symbols were betrayed (his speech about the need to abandon from Ararat and the symbols of the historical Armenian kingdoms on the coat of arms of Armenia), the national debt doubled, the territory shrank, thousands of people died, tens of thousands became refugees.
Pashinyan’s “pro-Westernism” is not about France, but about Turkey. His “west” is Turkey.
The Pashinyan regime talks about the need for integration into the region, this does not mean Iran or Georgia, but Turkey and Azerbaijan. It is to implement the plans of Ankara and Baku that all of the above is being done. And in their plans, Armenia either should not exist, or it should be a small enclave surrounded on all sides by Turkey and Azerbaijan. The hereditary president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, directly says that he intends to negotiate with Armenia on the basis of the 1919 map.
Practice has shown: as soon as Armenia abandoned the fight for recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide by Turkey, the genocide (ethnic cleansing) repeated.
The real sovereignty of Armenia is possible only with Armenian national government, which will protect both Armenia and the people of Artsakh. But the Armenian government cannot be pro-Turkish. As long as the pro-Turkish regime is in power, Armenia will be destroyed piece by piece. With the Armenian national government, the country can achieve its goals – to live in security and develop.
