“Armenian Wave” managed to reveal the directions and depth of the hostile advance in the Gegharkunik region on the first day of the war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Armenia as a result of the monitoring of open sources.
⦁ Thus, in the direction of Akhpradzor, the enemy advanced about 4.5 km in the internationally recognized territory of RA, reaching Khorapor mountain (2906.5 m) and appearing at a distance of about 4.5 km from the settlement of Akhpradzor.
⦁ In the direction of Verin Shorzha, the enemy advanced about 8 km in the internationally recognized territory of RA, reaching Chermakakar (2747.8 m), Ukhtasar (2851 m), and unnamed heights of 2484 m and appearing at a distance of about 700 m from the settlement of Upper Shorzha.
⦁ In the direction of Norabak, the enemy advanced about 7 km in the internationally recognized territory of RA, reaching the unnamed height of 2338.6 m and appearing at a distance of about 2 km from the settlement of Norabak.
Taking into account the area of the Armenian lands captured by Azerbaijan in this direction in 2021, in general, the enemy has captured around 150 km² of the internationally recognized territory of Armenia in that direction, which is the same as 15,000 hectares.
