The processes following the appointment of Russian-Armenian businessman Ruben Vardanyan as Minister of State of Artsakh did not take long. Already today, 9 ministers were dismissed from their jobs by the decree of Artsakh President Arayik Harotyunyan. Among them are Hayk Khanumyan, Norayr Musayelyan, Mikayel Hayriyan, Anahit Hakobyan, Armine Petrosyan. Several ministers were relieved of their positions and appointed as acting ministers, it is assumed that until a suitable replacement is found. Among them are Zhirayr Mirzoyan, Davit Babayan, Aram Sargsyan, Vahram Baghdasaryan.
As we have already informed, Ruben Vardanyan expressed readiness to hold direct negotiations with Azerbaijan on behalf of Artsakh. Artsakh MFA Davit Babayan also said in his interview that the only acceptable format of negotiations for Artsakh is the presence of international mediators, which ensured the format of the Minsk Group. Now Davit Babayan is no longer the foreign minister, but the acting minister, and it is assumed that he will soon leave that position as well.
Thus, the political passions in Artsakh continue, and taking into account the fact that the protection of the rights of Artsakh has been completely excluded from the agenda of the de facto authorities of the Republic of Armenia, the political turbulence in turn may bring a dangerous turn for the Artsakh Armenians.
